With the name of the Palatine it was officially opened in spring 2011, but the building is known as Palafuksas was completed in 2004, after more than seven years of work. After having hosted before the inauguration, some art exhibitions, the Palafuksas is now a parking in the basement and multifunctional area on the ground floor.
Fuksas renaming the building "Aladdin's lamp" for its particular shape. with an harmonious combination of glass and steel.
Essential for its development was the use of Ampex, the only structural system that allows coverage spans with spans up to 12 meters.
